About GeekDas

GeekDas is a free platform offering browser-based tools and a growing library of articles. While we started with developer tools and technical content, our articles cover a wide range of topics beyond just development, built to help visitors get everyday tasks done faster, without sign-ups, installs, or unnecessary friction.

Why GeekDas Exists

GeekDas started as a personal project, a place to host small utilities that were being rebuilt over and over for day-to-day development work, things like formatting JSON, generating hashes, converting units, and resizing images. Instead of keeping these tools scattered across scripts and bookmarks, they were brought together into one platform. It has since grown into a resource used by developers looking for quick, reliable tools that just work.

What We Offer

  • Developer Tools: Free, browser-based utilities including a JSON formatter, hash generator, password generator, unit converters, an HTML editor, and more, most of which run entirely in your browser.
  • Articles & Guides: Content covering web development, programming concepts, and practical how-tos, as well as other topics we find useful or interesting to write about. Our content isn't limited to technical subjects alone.

Our Principles

  • Fast: Tools are built to be lightweight and responsive, with no unnecessary steps between you and the result.
  • Private by default: Most tools process data directly in your browser rather than sending it to a server. See our Privacy Policy for details.
  • Free to use: No account creation or payment is required to use any tool on the site.

Who's Behind It

GeekDas is built and maintained by a full stack web developer with a background in building production web applications, SaaS platforms, and developer tools. You can read more or get in touch on the portfolio and projects page.
